Oxyfuel & Gas-flow Skids

Oxy fuel skids are a product offering used for fuel gas production and delivery. They are designed to contain all necessary components needed for the production, storage, and delivery of fuel gas and oxygen. They are used in a variety of industries, such as welding, cutting, burning, and heat treating. Oxy fuel skids provide a safe, efficient, and cost-effective way to ensure the reliable production of fuel gas and oxygen.

CCD provides all types of oxygen combustion skids, including oxygen staging for NOx reduction. All components have been oxygen-tested and certified for this specific application.

Tailor made flow skids can be designed and fabricated to suit customer’s flow, temperature, pressure and purity controls.

Combustion of pure oxygen rather than fuel/air mixtures removes nitrogen, which is inert for combustion but active in heat transport, providing several advantages. It reduces the exhaust gas volume by approximately 75%, resulting in significant heat loss; it allows for drastic reductions in NOx emissions; and it requires less engineering work because pipelines require smaller sections. Heat exchangers are no longer required. Increased productivity due to higher flame temperature and heat transfer ratio, as well as colder fuel gas and easier mixing with fuel, resulting in more stable flames because there are no more problems with air excess or deficit.
